Entering the kitchen to the fragrance of bacon frying, and warmed maple syrup, Jessie squealed. “Are you making my favorite breakfast?”

“Yep. Cinnamon French Toast coming up in five.”

“You’re my hero.”

“Hey, I was your hero last night.”

“And that designation has survived the light of day. Congratulations, it’s official.”

She lifted her face to receive his kiss and wasn’t disappointed. Mark was a great lover, but he was an unsurpassed smoocher, caressing her lips as his tongue soothed tender flesh, seeking the dark warmth beyond. He deepened, and then lightened his kiss until there was no option but to separate. The man put his heart and soul in that kiss.

She tasted him from her lips. “Mmm.”

“Woman, you’re going to be the death of me. Now I’m as hard as nails and don’t have time to take care of it. I should swat your behind.”

“No way, I’m sore, but I can offer you a raincheck.” Jessie reached over to snag her plate of breakfast.

“That’s one I’ll be sure to redeem.”

“I’m counting on it.”

Jessie loved Cinnamon French Toast, and she made sounds of satisfaction that would compete with her moans when he loved her.

Mark’s laugh was a bit forced. “I wish I’d chosen another breakfast. You think you know what you’re doing, Minx, but I promise you, I can make you sorry you teased the tiger.”

“I don’t know what you mean?” her innocent-sounding response was anything but, and she loved they could tease. Her past boyfriends were not able to handle it. Mark was made of tougher stuff.

“If this is your way of payback for spanking your ass last night, you go right ahead because I can repeat that little scene tonight if you like.”

Her belly dropped a foot. “No, thank you.” She glanced at his hard-on that was difficult to hide. Yeah, she’d stop.

Where did Jessie come from?

Accounting, of course. Ha-ha Jessie was mentioned in the first book as a quiet, non-descript scene filler and before I knew it, she was taking over one of the ending scenes of Saving Sharlee.

Mark seemed more intense and yet disciplined less than the others. Why?

Mark disciplined for discipline and he wasn’t as much into that as the sexy discipline sessions. He also adjusted his intensity to be with Jessie who was a polar opposite from Sharlee. The things we do for love.

What is one of your favorite things to do?

Have a tea party. We do one at Christmas with all the girls from 0 to 99.

Do you like your men with long or short hair?

LONG. If it is kept neat and clean, I love it flowing down his back.

Beard or mustache?

Both, if you mean on him not her. I love a full beard on some and then some… not so much. Mustache is the same. If it is trimmed neatly and kept clean, I love it. No straggly mess for me.
